The position of SMT Process Engineering is responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of all related manufacturing equipment & processes required to manufacture a high quality product in a repeatable and cost effective manner. As such, the successful candidate must have background and experience in SMT manufacturing processes, programming and support of automated placement systems. Responsible of the management of new launches, transfer of lines, increase capacity and layout improvements. Improvement ideas development to get process optimization, increase capacity and cost reduction, through continuous improvement. Innovative strategies deployment by applying the Harman Production System philosophy.
Responsible for the well-functioning of applications used in the floor that use databases, maintaining products and set ups in SAP AME for their process flow in shop floor, development of new systems that will help with making the work of other areas easier and faster using new technologies, development of skills in employees and innovative strategies deployment by applying the HPS philosophy.
Responsible for the results of indicators: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost, for the new product, until EOL projects. Must apply the philosophy of HPS. Developing the Harman skills in employees.
